Tony Mihok's Biography

Self-taught artist and photographer Tony Mihok was born in Budapest, Hungary, December 31, 1948 and emigrated to Canada during the 1956 Hungarian revolution. He became interested in fine art and photography at an early age and had his first major art show in 1968 at The Oakville Centennial Gallery.

Tony took early retirement from his freelance photography business last fall and moved to Ottawa to become a full time artist and photographer.

He is currently exhibiting his artwork at various art festivals in Ottawa and The National Capital Region.
